Our
Kennel Philosophy
Dogs aren't meant to just exist.
They're meant to have a purpose.
At LnL Working K9's, we believe a balanced dog is a dog whose physical, mental, and emotional needs are understood and supported.
Whether your dog needs help navigating everyday life, you're looking for a better training foundation, or you want to explore the world of working dogs and dog sports, our goal is the same:
Build a confident dog.
Develop a capable handler.
Create a relationship that lasts.
We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every dog is an individual, and every handler-dog team has a different journey.
Meet the people behind the pack.
Destiny Lytle & Ethan Lawhorne
We're lifelong Alaskans, working-dog enthusiasts, competitors, trainers, mushers, and—most importantly—people who genuinely love living life alongside our dogs.
Destiny grew up immersed in the working-dog world and has spent decades training, competing, mentoring, and continuing her education in canine behavior and training.
Ethan found the working-dog lifestyle later in life, quickly discovering the incredible relationship that can develop when a dog is given structure, purpose, and a job.
Together, we've built LnL Working K9's around something we believe deeply:
**A great dog isn't created by the handler alone.
A great team is built together.**
